wysiwyg Hasn’t Dropped The Ball For Years At The Super Bowl

Viewers watching the Super Bowl halftime show will get to see live what only the previz experts got to see in advance using wysiwyg R32.

Keep your eyes on the big game this weekend and see what wysiwyg R32 brings to the field at halftime. Lighting Designer Robert Barnhart from Full Flood worked with Tom Thompson from Prelite on the previsualization to design the exciting halftime show featuring Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but we can’t tell you any more.

In order to achieve the massive lighting design, CAST modified R32 to go from 100 to 200 universes – a real run for the money. In addition, R32 has seriously upgraded (Phase 2) graphics that the design team couldn’t have done without. wysiwyg is no stranger to the Super Bowl, having been the previz staple for the halftime show for the past several years.

A full story of just how this massive show was achieved will be released post-show so keep your eyes on the news to learn exactly what R32 delivered.

Super Bowl XLVIII is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Sunday EST (New York).
