According to designer Steve Lieberman, the design is very similar to last year, yes. This is being developed as a “signature look” for Ultra. The producers, artists, and management were all very fond of last years design and wanted to build on it. There are very significant differences in the two designs, but the basic philosophy for the geometry of the design is the same.
