Live Design is now accepting nominations for the sixth annual Excellence In Live Design awards, honoring outstanding achievement in design for projects completed between January and December 2012 and including a new category of projects chosen by a panel of distinguished design judges.
Other than the chosen awards, nominations can be made in seven categories—Architainment, Concerts, Corporate Events, Live For Broadcast, Theatre Production, Venues (Club or Lounge), and Venues (Theatre or Performance)—and each will be featured online in its entirety with coverage in the April issue of Live Design. One winner in each category will be chosen via online voting on livedesignonline.com, where typically 80,000 readers cast votes. All winners will be fully featured in the June-July issue of Live Design and be honored at the Live Design Broadway Master Classes in June.
Anyone involved in a project—architects, consultants, owners, producers, manufacturers, suppliers, designers, programmers, venue, or event staff—may submit an entry. Multiple entries are accepted, but please try to limit one entry per project.
There is a processing fee of $399 per entry, and the deadline for entry is March 5.
