Phantom At Royal Albert Hall on Blu-Ray And DVD

The lavishly staged production of The Phantom of the Opera at London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall for the show's 25th anniversary was beamed live via satellite to cinemas across the globe, and it will be available on Blu-Ray and DVD on February 7 from Universal Studios Home EntertainmentThe Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall marks the first time a live performance of the musical has been made available in such a format.

Lighting for the 25th anniversary production was done by Patrick Woodroffe and Andrew Bridge, with sound by Mick Potter, and set design by Matt Kinley, inspired by Maria Björnson’s original design for the stage. In addition, the stage production was directed by Laurence Connor, based on the original London production directed by Hal Prince.

Bonus features on Blu-Ray and DVD include, “Getting Past the Point of No Return:” A behind-the-scenes “making of” feature starring the cast and crew.
