Levy Lighting NYC had the challenging task of illuminating the daylight press launch of Manhattan’s Trump Soho New York Condo Hotel, Donald Trump’s first foray into Soho and his first ultra-modern edifice.

“Lighting was a challenge because the event took place in bright daylight at the construction site where walls had not yet been built,” says Ira Levy, president of Levy Lighting NYC.

In this environment, clear projections of chandeliers onto walls, paisley patterns onto floors, and the Trump Soho logo onto a red velvet wall created the luxury atmosphere befitting a Trump project. Care was also taken to ensure appropriate lighting for cameras trained on Donald J. Trump, and his children Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric.
