Thern Inc. Announces Partnership With Hall Stage North America, Inc.

Thern Inc. recently announced a partnership with Hall Stage North America to form a new network of distributors and installers serving the theatre rigging industry.

Created by UK company Hall Stage Limited, Hall Stage NA was designed to provide a comprehensive distributor network serving the US and Canadian markets. Hall Stage NA has an extensive catalog of over 1,200 items including the T70 premium drapery track product. Coupled with Thern’s product offering of clew winches, roll drops, line shaft, and drum winches, the new venture will provide customers with a full menu of theatre rigging equipment as well as design and installation services. Products will be available from stock via a network of high quality suppliers and installers across the US and Canada, beginning in the second quarter of 2007.

The new relationship was announced earlier this month at the USITT annual conference and expo in Phoenix, AZ.

Charles Haines, Hall Stage owner and UK CEO comments, “We have been planning an entry into the North American market for over two years, but could not have imagined such a positive response—the reception has been wonderful.”

Tedd Morgan, COO at Thern says, “We are extremely enthusiastic about the possibility of being able to offer a complete range of top quality products to our customer base. Both Thern and Hall Stage have longstanding traditions of excellence and this partnership promises to build on those strengths.”

Rick Boychuk, managing director of Hall Stage NA, adds, “We were drawn to the Hall Stage brand as we were continually seeing these superb products in everyday use. To be involved in this fantastic growth is unbelievable, and we’re all looking forward to some great opportunities ahead.”
