Tigrelab Video-Maps Audio-Interactive TV3 Spain Interview
Tigrelab Multimedia & Design Studio based in Barcelona recently designed immersive and audio-interactive content for TV3 Spain for two broadcast discussions between humorist Andreu Buenafuente and scientist Eduard Punset, presenting a range of issues concerning everyday life and set against a video mapping projection of almost 100 square meters (check out the full "making of" video below).
Tigrelab developed the visual content for the critically acclaimed programs for an audiovisual backdrop wall measuring 24m wide by 3.5m high. The reactive and continuously changing visuals allowed the two men to maintain their discussion while triggering a total of 20 different scenes, including a modernist library, a New York skyscraper, and a futurist mesh created using images of codes.
Using an audio-reactive backdrop developed by WeLoveCode, the visual content changed, depending on the dialog, with the image divided into two parts that were connected to left-right stereo audio, one side for each of the participants.
The montage for the projection and management of the video mapping was accomplished via three Barco FLM R20+ HD projectors and Dataton Watchout 5.
