Pepsi Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show Lighting Gear

Beyoncé’s performance at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show began in dramatic fashion, with silhouette lighting and strong saturated colors on a set designed by Bruce Rodgers of tribe inc.

These opening cues were just a teaser of the dynamic lighting that built throughout the performance. Just when you thought "that" is the look that can't be topped, lighting designer Al Gurdon put up another look that did just that. Walls of beams, color, unexpected placement, angles, movement, and surprise were the staples of his design, working with programmers Mike ‘Oz’ Owen and Pete Radice.

In the coming days, we will take a more in-depth look at lighting for the Halftime Show but to satisfy initial curiosity, and answer all the "what was he using?" tweets, here’s the selected lighting equipment list.
