Until now, short-throw and ultra-short-throw projection has typically been limited to smaller fixed-lens projectors used in seminar rooms and in meeting room environments. Panasonic has changed that with ET-DLE030 short-throw lenses for larger format single-chip DLP projectors. Panasonic’s engineers have finely crafted a solution that vertically redirects light cast from projectors at a distance of just 370mm from the projector to produce a bright, symmetrical sided image directly above it. This is achieved by a cleverly designed mirror system. “The new Panasonic lens allows you to create big images with an unbelievably short throw distance, and it already works with several of Panasonic’s current lineup of projectors,” notes one of our judges.
