The State Theatre in Modesto, CA has received a total sound system upgrade. Originally named the Art Deco State Theatre, and built as a movie house in 1934 by noted architect S. Charles Lee, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The seating area is long and narrow with rear seating that rises about 20' above the main floor.
