In a yet another precursor to the Academy Awards, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) today announced their 2001 nominations for the Orange British Academy Film Awards. With 12 nods apiece, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring and Moulin Rouge lead the race, and are nominated along with Amelie, A Beautiful Mind, and Shrek for Best Film.
