Tom Stoppard’s latest, The Coast of Utopia—Voyage, Shipwreck, Salvage, received the Trifecta of nominations in the design categories for this year's Olivier Awards, the UK’s answer to the Tonys. It was the only production this year to be recognized for lighting (David Hersey) sets, and costumes (William Dudley).

The big news among this year’s nominees was the total snub of two productions, David Hare’s The Breath of Life starring Dames Judi Dench and Maggie Smith and the well-received Broadway transfer of The Full Monty. Also of note was the paltry recognition for the hit We Will Rock You, which received only one nomination for a supporting performance.

The design nominees are as follows:

A Streetcar Named Desire designed by Bunny Christie at the Lyttelton
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang designed by Anthony Ward at the London Palladium
Play Without Words designed by Lez Brotherston at the Lyttelton
The Coast Of Utopia - Voyage, Shipwreck, Salvage designed by William Dudley at the Olivier
