Navigator Systems has announced that current users of the RPM Rental Management System are eligible to upgrade to HireTrack Eclipse for free with the purchase of technical support from Navigator Systems US. Greg Smith, president of Navigator Systems US said, "As the RPM system winds down its development and support is discontinued, we felt that users would welcome the opportunity to upgrade to a great product like HireTrack Eclipse. This program gives some choices to the RPM users about the future direction of their company's information system." A one-year technical support agreement is required to be eligible for the upgrade and companies must also provide proof of purchase for their RPM System.
Navigator Systems technical support includes access to the resources available at its support website. At "Club Navigator," users can share information with other HireTrack users, access knowledgebase articles, and download the latest releases and tools. In addition to phone and fax support, Navigator Systems also employs a desktop streaming system allowing tech support representatives to share a user's computer screen, keyboard, and mouse over the internet to quickly troubleshoot and solve users' issues. Tech support representatives can also show users new features.
