Creative consultant Bob Bonniol, principal designer of Mode Studios, once again heads up the Live Design Projection Master Classes at LDI2009, running November 18 and 19 in Orlando, FL. In addition to Bonniol and leading projection and scenic design professionals— from Willie Williams of U2 360° tour design fame to Broadway designer/architect David Rockwell—the master classes also focus on the technology essential to creating today’s cutting-edge images.

Corporate sponsors of the event include A.C.T Lighting, coolux, Enttec, Gerriets International, Green Hippo, MA Lighting, and TMB, all representing the “bleeding edge” in projection technology and adding technical emphasis to the PMC at LDI, from media servers to projection surfaces.

“One of the highlights for Enttec at LDI2008 was the Live Design Projection Master Classes which we co-sponsored. This 2½ day workshop was a remarkable opportunity for us to wave the Enttec flag and to communicate about our products with about 80 or 90 very savvy and enthusiastic participants,” says Enttec’s Jeremy Kumin. “They were made up of scenery, lighting, and projection designers, as well as producers and technical directors, and programmers who worked in the "convergence" area in between video and lighting as well. We felt we were in the right place at the right time, over and over again, because moderator Bob Bonniol and other panelists made repeated comments about techniques, approaches, and software packages, some inexpensive and lower-tech, some quite cutting edge, which involved our products too, directly or indirectly.”

Register before November 9 for the Live Design Projection Master Classes and save $100. Alumni of the Broadway Projection Master Classes in NYC in 2008 and 2009 can enjoy additional savings. Focus on the PMC@LDI and make a focused choice in your professional training.
