Go behind the scenes to meet the creative and technical teams that make it all possible, from two great shows by Cirque du Soleil — Zarkana and Michael Jackson ONE — to the rock ‘n roll sounds of Rock of Ages, with tours of theatres and clubs. 9:30pm Cirque du Soleil: Zarkana
Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil is an acrobatic rock experience that blends circus arts with the surreal to create a world where physical virtuosity rubs shoulders with the strange. Zark, the ringmaster of an extraordinary circus coming back to life, guides us in an abandoned theatre populated by a motley collection of off-the-wall characters and incomparable acrobats. Among other attractions, he introduces the Mutants, four sirens as sinister as they are fabulous. Zarkana is a visual vortex set in a twisted musical and acrobatic fantasy universe where, little by little, chaos and craziness give way to a true celebration. The Zarkana design team includes: Stéphane Roy, sets and props; Raymond St-Jean, projections: Alan Hranitlj, costumes; Steven Dubuc, sound.
Tuesday, November 19:
Lunch followed by afternoon tours of the Zarkana theatre** at Aria Resort and the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace
6:30pm: Dinner at The Venetian
8PM: Rock of Ages
Set on the infamous Sunset Strip in LA in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! Post-show Q&A featuring projection designer Zachary Borovay. The design team also includes costume designer Gregory Gale, sound designer Peter Hylenski, set designer Beowulf Boritt, and lighting designer Jason Lyons.

Michael Jackson ONE is a sonic, tonic fusion of acrobatics, dance and visuals that takes the audience on an immersive journey through the music and spirit of Michael Jackson. Driven by Michael's powerful, multi-layered music – heard like never before in a riveting, state-of-the-art surround-sound environment —ONE takes the audience through a series of seamless visual and musical tableaux, at the heart of a world that is in turn majestic, playful, magical and heart-warming. In Michael Jackson ONE, Michael's spirit is channeled through the vibrant energy of the cast of 63 dancers and performers, underscored by aerial performance, driving acrobatics, and vivid choreographies that use the urban/hip hop idiom as a springboard for exploration.
