This popular annual seminar is designed for everyone involved in stage, architectural, or entertainment lighting. Sonnenfeld says, "The sessions are not too basic nor too advanced. Everyone who attends will benefit." The intense all day seminar will be led by theatre lighting professionals leading sessions about inspiration, training, product, and just doing it. The seminar is designed for new and advancing stage lighting designers, who do not want to become Broadway Lighting Designers. Subjects include Stage Lighting 101, conventional luminaires, LED and Arc Source luminaires, color, special effects, consoles, moving lights, and other new topics.
Parker adds that "We expect 20 or so manufacturers and technical specialists will with us to demonstrate equipment. At the moment, we have these sponsors, Apollo, Chauvet, City Theatrical, ETC, ENTTEC, Lee, Lite-Trol, Lycian, Motorized Rigging, Philips (Strand, Selecon, etc), Robert Juliat, RC4, Sapsis Rigging, TMB, and more on the way."
