High End Systems has introduced Studio Command H, the Halogen version of its Studio Command® fixture. Debuting and shipping now, Studio Command H has a Tungsten source for those applications requiring a warm 3,200K color temperature option. It works with standard theatre dimming racks. A 1,000W halogen lamp is offered in four different lamp voltages.
Studio Command H shares most of the features of the original Studio Command 700, with the differences being related to the technical difference in the lamps.
The fixture is suitable for theatrical, corporate, concert touring, and house of worship markets–any installation requiring a powerful wash fixture.
In all Studio Command models, the CMY dichroic color-mixing system provides rapid and quiet color changes, and the mechanical douser provides a smooth fade to black.
The 8.25" output beam takes on a searchlight effect look, as the output lens is positioned relatively close to both the pan and tilt axes. The moving yoke fixture, controlled by DMX, features an adjustable field angle from 18 to 32 degrees. It also offers a variable mechanical and Electronic Strobe™, with extra punch provided by the Light Burst™ effect.
All Studio Command fixtures provide an option for stand-alone programming and support TalkBack™ technology that allows any DMX console supporting TalkBack protocol to remotely access the Studio Command onboard menu system.
