In the Easy Stand Alone range, the Nicolaudie–Sunlite already had the successful Stand Alone USB-DMX interface. In September 2004, Sunlite announced a new Stand Alone Ethernet DMX 512 interface (IP version).
The product makes it possible to work either locally or via the Internet. This would be especially useful for an architectural installation. Just imagine a building in Los Angeles controlled via this product. If the lighting designer wants to improve his program from New York, Paris, or Singapore, this will be possible from any computer.
The IP version also controls up to 512 channels and includes a real-time clock. At PLASA 2004, the product won a "PLASA Award for Innovation".
