L-Acoustics US has promoted Bob Alumbaugh, formerly the assistant manager of production, to the position of quality assurance and customer service.
In his new role, Alumbaugh will be responsible for supervising quality control, maintaining test equipment, handling return authorizations, managing materials acquisitions and production flow, and liaising with end users as the manufacturer’s primary customer service contact.
“We’re really happy to have Bob stepping up into this new capacity with us,” says Bernie Broderick, director of technical services for L-Acoustics US. “As the owner of a small production company and longtime mix engineer, Bob brings plenty of real world experience to his position as well as a good understanding of what our end users’ needs are. He also has a genuine love for pro audio and an attention to detail that will be critical in ensuring that all of the products that go out our door will completely exceed our customers’ expectations.”
