“Consultants are asking for on-site tests proving the distance between the hard struck limit and the over-travel limit,” said Operations Manager Dave Rossi. “We're excited to show how our new Pro Series maintenance pendant easily demonstrates that without having a technician on site to rewire each hoist unit. Also the pendant's HMI communicates via Modbus, which can offer a significant savings on larger projects.”
Daktronics proven Pro Series controller now has a 3-part cueing feature allowing the powerful system the ability to execute multiple moves simultaneously from multiple cueing sequences. The revised controller added user-friendly architectural units and a standard deadman switch on all units.
Stage professionals won't want to miss checking out the compact, economical Daktronics new E Series rigging control platform designed to fill the need of smaller installations. “This is the first year for LDI attendees to examine our newest member of our control family. We've already received orders for the value-packed E Series controller capable of integrating all variable speed hoists in high and low speed/capacities,” added Rossi.
Daktronics Banner hoist will also be on display this year's LDI exhibit hall. Targeted for lightweight 150 lb capacity hoisting needs, the uses are unlimited to move signage, advertising, banners, or other applications. Operated with a hand-held wireless remote control, the hoist's secondary brake makes it suitable for use above the owner's customer occupied spaces.
