“Admittedly, we have a love affair with light—light fixtures, light design and lighting in general. Lighting is infectious. Our LDI presentation will seek to convey this with a dark nod to Halloween, which is the same weekend,” Berenice Chauvet, vice president of CHAUVET® said.
The creative team of CHAUVET® enlisted the help of lighting designer Chris Lisle, most recently involved in the Miranda Lambert tour, and Scott Chmielewski, president of Digital Media Designs and a programmer for Phish, to helm the controls and video integration that evokes this fascination of spreading infectious light.
Over 300 CHAUVET® MVPâ„¢ video panels will be interlocked into a large-scale wall framing out the booth on three sides to create an immersive experience for guests. Against that backdrop, a spider truss design with a rig of nearly 200 fixtures, to include the premiering COLORadoâ„¢ Zoom Tour static wash lights and Legendâ„¢ 412 LED moving yokes, will loom large over the center of the booth. At the floor level, an “infected” runway will be flanked by Q-Washâ„¢ 560Z LED moving heads and the new revolutionary Epixâ„¢ Series of pixel mapping fixtures running ArKaos' debuting Kling-Net protocol.
Devoted to the CHAUVET® Professional line of fixtures, the center booth is flanked by two smaller ones, one dedicated to the CHAUVET® DJ line and another to its sister architectural lighting company, ILUMINARC®.
“I'm really looking forward to putting on a great show at the CHAUVET® booth at LDI,” Lisle said. “I've become a big fan of their products and their new lights are going to make this show a lot of fun to work on.”
The three booths combined display nearly 700 fixtures, across the three lines. CHAUVET® seeks to make an indelible impression on attendees and demonstrate its stake in the entertainment lighting market, CEO Albert Chauvet said.
