Laser Design Production Inc. and lighting designer Butch Allen collaborated to create a visual spectacular for the Van Halen Reunion Tour. Lorenzo Cornacchia, vice president of Laser Design Productions, demo'd lasers for the band at Center Staging in Burbank, CA, after which Laser Design's Doug Adams was called upon to fulfill the design of the laser effects to specific songs. Touring laser operator Al Domanski was involved in bringing the designs to fruition.

New York's The Public Theatre's premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's play The Brothers Size, directed by Tea Alagic, opened last month, with scenic co-designers Doug Stein and Peter Ksander. The costumes were designed by Zane Philstrom, and the lighting design was by Burke Brown. The production has had an exciting trip from class project at the Yale School of Drama, to a non-funded showcase in an un-air-conditioned theatre, to the Under The Radar Festival, and as part of the Public's regular season. The cast, director, playwright, and many of the designers have been working on the show for over two years, starting while students.
