For the second year in a row, UVLD lit the 26th New York International Orchid Show, which took place April 20-23, 2006, in Rockefeller Center. The show featured over 40 orchid exhibits with more than 50 vendors, floral displays, Ikebana arrangements, and free lectures.

Lighting designer Gregory Cohen used a variety of light pastel hues so as to not overwhelm the natural beauty of the orchids. A complement of ETC Source Four® PARS mounted on trusses on the esplanade level of the space provided just the right touch for the event.
