TBA Global Events has announced the appointment of William J. Holmes to its New York team. Effective immediately, Holmes is named vice president of sales, strategic events division. In his new post, he will be responsible for the development of strategic relationships, brand strategies, and marketing programs for TBA.

Holmes comes to TBA with more than 20 years experience in sales, marketing, and business development. Over the course of his career, he has focused on the pharmaceutical, technology, and manufacturing industries. Among his many achievements, Holmes was instrumental in the initial development of the Martha Stewart brand working on the licensing agreement between Fieldcrest Cannon and Kmart. Prior to joining TBA, he was director of client services for Image Zone, Inc. and president of Image Zone training. During his tenure at the company Holmes was a key figure in the launch of Abbott Diabetes Care at the American Diabetes Association Annual Convention. In addition, he supervised high profile accounts including Pfizer, Glaxo Smith Kline, Honeywell, Wyeth, Merck, Novartis, Abbott, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and 3M.
