Vista Systems Begins Shipping the Spyder

Vista Systems has begun shipping its new Spyder™ product line unveiled at the NAB 2004 convention earlier this year. Among the first recipients are Video Networks in Gaithersburg, MD; Quince Imaging in Herndon, VA; Solotech in Montreal; A Better Resolution in Boston; Presentation Specialties in Archer, FL; Media Solutions in Las Vegas; High Resolution Engineering in Clarkston, MI; and Primetec in Goteborg, Sweden.

The small and flexible Spyder offers AV presentation producers and rental and staging companies a cost-effective powerful realtime compositing and windowing environment plus the image quality and processing capabilities for which Vista Systems’ Montage™ is known. The Spyder is capable of handling high-resolution HD-SDI and DVI formats and has extensive expansion capabilities.

The Spyder 200 and 300 series build on the Montage system introduced by Vista Systems last year. These products provide the same key benefits as Montage -- flexibility for mixing sources in multiple windows, greater clarity of signal processing, seamless widescreen displays -- plus realtime compositing for high-resolution applications in a modular, scaleable package. Customers can deploy Spyder products alone or combine them like building blocks, integrating any model from the 200 series with the 300 series to accommodate any application from a small plasma screen to multiple screens.
