The first National Congress on Health and Safety for the Performing Arts in the Secondary Schools and ISETSA National Congress will be held on Friday through Sunday, June 25-27, 2004 at the Joan Steele Stein Center for Communication Studies and Fine Arts, Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Sponsored by ISETSA to carry out this mission to protect and save children in the performing arts to always provide students with healthy and safe performing environments. The registration fee is $175.

Session Three: Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality

Hazardous exposures and risks to the health and safety of students and instructors in the performing arts of the secondary schools because of poor ventilation and lack of mandated Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
Session Four: Risk assessment of a Theatre Building

Performing arts facility safety and health conditions: laws, conditions, solutions, and a walk-through of a facility with three professionals, i.e. Risk assessors of theatres and public assembly.
Session Five: Hazardous Exposure to Chemicals
Presenters: Dr. Randall W.A. Davidson, Jay Stone, and Paul Sullivan
Hazardous exposures to chemicals in the performing arts in the secondary schools: facts, conditions, laws and regulations, and solutions.
