When Everybody's Handing You a Line, Get a Thern CW-1100
Multi-line loads are easier to control with a Thern Series CW-1100 Clew Winch - an essential feature for lifting scenery and light battens in theatres, schools, and similar sites. These winches provide an alternative to counterweight systems in that they are easier to operate, less hazardous, can be drill operated for faster movement and have a drum lock for secondary load handling and security. These hand-operated units have an 1,100 lb. rating and feature single reduction bronze worm gearing for accurate, secure operation and oil bath for continuous lubrication. The units are available with either one or two drum compartments and allow infinite positioning of guide ropes to handle clews up to 9.5 inches wide. There are also 2,500 lb. models available.
