Tony Castrigno, president of New York-based set and lighting design firm Castrigno + Company, has announced that the company’s name will be changed to Design-Contact. The name change symbolizes the firm’s commitment to designing with the point of contact or engagement with the audience. It also takes into account the firm’s growth; the company’s designers will become the “design contacts” for its clients.
Castrigno will remain a part of the team of designers that work collaboratively, and in addition, he will become the creative director.
