New Sales Staff At Sennheiser
Sennheiser(SEC) is delighted to announce two new
additions to the sales staff. Brad
Stephens has been appointed to the dual position of national sales manager for
Turbosound and southeast sales rep for Neumann and distributed brands, as well
as the addition of Bob Tamburri to the SEC sales team as sales representative
for pro products in the New York metro and upstate regions.
With the growing interest in
both the Turbosound Aspect® and Compact Series, vice president of sales and
marketing for the professional products group, Jeff Alexander, deemed it
necessary to support Turbosound's growth with the appointment of a national
sales manager. Stephens is no stranger to Turbosound as he spent three years
with the brand's prior US distributor.
In his new SEC position
Stephens will, not only support Turbosound but, also function as the southwest
(Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana) representative for Neumann and
distributed brands, including HHB, TRUE Systems, Australian Monitor, and Klein
+ Hummel. Stephens's most recent positions were as senior technology consultant
for Teng & Associates, Chicago and Dallas, and as territory manager for the
Bose Corporation.
In his new position Stephens is
expected to increase sales, work with end-users, consultants, contractors and
dealers to solidify existing relationships, and build a new customer base.
"Finding someone of Brad's
talents, coupled with industry savvy and expertise, makes my life a lot easier.
I just tell him what to do and he knows exactly how to get it done. All of us
at SEC welcome Brad to the team," comments Alexander.
When asked why he chose
Sennheiser, Stephens replies, "Sennheiser has been one of the most
innovative and successful companies in our industry. The growth of SEC during
the last decade has been phenomenal. Coming back to Turbosound with the quality
and diversity of their new product line is really exciting. I'm looking forward
to jumping in with both feet."
Tamburri has rich experience in
the sales and professional audio fields. In his previous position, he was a
national education and merchandising manager for a company specializing in
home-theatre products. Before that he worked as a pro audio product manager for
another leading audio equipment manufacturer.
"This experience, in combination with the fact that Tamburri is a native of the New York Metro area, is what made it a very easy decision to bring him on board with SEC," says northeast regional sales manager Eric Mayer.
