Sennheiser Electronic Corporation (SEC) has taken on distribution of TL Audio's range of tube (valve) mixing consoles and dynamics processors in the USA, Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. A reseller of restored vintage mixing consoles, the UK manufacturer has been producing high-end analog equipment employing hybrid tube and solid state circuitry since 1990.
TL Audio produces several ranges of tube-based outboard processors and mixing consoles, including the Classic and lower-cost Ivory Series. The Ivory series of preamps, equalizers and dynamics processors has recently been refined in the Ivory 2 range. The entry-level Fatman Series, introduced in 2000, combines user control with 15 preset compression settings, accommodating a wide range of applications.
TL Audio's initial console design, the PM-1 portable ENG mixer, which is still available, has since been joined by the small format M-3 valve consoles of the Classic range and the award-winning medium and large format VTC (Valve Technology Console). The M-3 'Tubetracker' console provides eight channels of VTC quality in a small format package and is ideal as a DAW front end.
Says Tony Larking, managing director of TL Audio, "Finding an organization like Sennheiser to distribute our products is a real asset. Having our products supported by their personnel and dealers can only result in a win-win situation for our customers."
Sennheiser Electronic Corporation's president, John Falcone, based at the Company's headquarters in Old Lyme, CT, adds, "TL Audio has quickly established a well deserved reputation as a manufacturer of professional quality and affordable analog products making it a great fit for SEC's distributed brands roster. The line gives our dealers an exciting array of tube equipment that complements our existing lines."
TK joins a list of audio brands Sennheiser distributes that includes Neumann Microphones, Innova SON digital consoles, Chevin Research Amplifiers, Turbosound Loudspeakers, and HHB Professional Audio Products.
