Scharff Weisberg Moves

May 5, 2008 3:03 PM

After 29 years in New York City, Scharff Weisberg is moving into a large, growth-friendly space in Secaucus, New Jersey. On Monday, April 28 the lighting division moved to Secaucus and the rest of the team, including audio, video, and administration will follow in June.

Company president Josh Weisberg states, "In terms of real estate, we’ve been victims of our own success for the past three years and have been forced to juggle our limited shop capacity as our business has expanded. We're very excited about this new space because the 95,000 square feet of shop space, along with 12 loading docks, will allow our audio, video, and lighting shops to provide quick, efficient, and well-coordinated service. We’ll be the only facility in the metro area that will house state-of-the-art lighting, audio, convergence, and video shops under the same roof and we’ll now have more than adequate space to prep a show of any size while keeping the same distance from midtown Manhattan as we have now."

In addition to the new warehouse space, the company has also leased 8,000 square feet of office space in a modern office building to house finance, administrative, and sales staff. The office building is located on the aptly named Lighting Way in Secaucus and the company has announced plans to petition the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission to rename the street “Lighting, Audio, and Video Way.”

Scharff Weisberg will keep the same phone numbers, and the new address is:

Scharff Weisberg
77 Metro Way
Secaucus, New Jersey 07094
