Thomas Augusta

will become Barbizon’s national sales manager for distribution goods. This position was created to assist all of the Barbizon offices to better coordinate the selling of box goods. Augusta will work with all sales managers and the local sales contact to coordinate efforts, train personnel, work on national sales accounts, help set goals for each office, and work with the national marketing manager on ideas and all sales related issues. In addition, Augusta will coordinate his activities with Bill Price, director of systems and the systems group to more effectively leverage the assets of both parts of Barbizon's business. He will maintain his position in New York, as well as travel to all the offices.

Augusta has been with Barbizon for 4 years and before that was with Tiffen for 15 years in sales management. He is uniquely qualified for this position having worked in the industry for close to 20 years both in manufacturing and on the distribution side.
