NYSERDA Request for Proposals: New York Solar Schools

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) announces RFP 622-01, New York Solar Schools: PV Demonstration and Teaching Initiative.

NYSERDA is currently accepting proposals and will award a contract for the design and implementation of an initiative for photovoltaic (PV) education, outreach, and demonstration in New York State schools. NYSERDA has a total of $1,750,000 available under this RFP and plans to award one cost-shared contract. (NYSERDA is not accepting applications from school for demonstrations. Schools will be selected later, anticipated to be Summer 2002.)

The RFP form can also be downloaded at www.nyserda.org/622rfp.html. Proposals are due no later than 3pm EDT, Wednesday, January 16, 2002.

NYSERDA, as administrator of the New York Energy $mart program, has designed this program to raise awareness, educate schoolchildren, and increase the adoption of PV technologies in New York State.
