The Mintz Lighting Group

announced the promotion of Joseph Conti to the position of associate. In 1995, Conti joined the firm, which has provided lighting consultation and design services since 1965. By 1998, he was named senior designer, and three years later became studio manager. An accomplished artist and a key member of the firm's design team, Conti contributed an artist's perspective to many projects including corporate, retail and signature bridges.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Conti participated on the design for the Sprint World Headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas; May Department Stores throughout the US; the Victory Bridge in New Jersey; and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC. As associate, Conti is currently working on lighting designs for the Mississippi River Bridge in St. Louis, MO; Foley's Department Store in Sunland, TX; and two Lord & Taylor Stores in Westchester, NY and Ridgewood, NJ.
