Martin US has hired John Dunn as its regional market manager, Total Club for the West Coast region. His responsibilities include working with dealers, owners, and managers in the Total Club segment of clubs, bars, and lounges (Martin lighting, Mach sound, Jem smoke).
Dunn came to Martin from a DJ and production background. Starting as a DJ at the age of 17 in Orange County, CA, John then worked for N>Effect, a company that specializes in tradeshow booth design and implementation as well as high school dances and corporate parties. While there, he consulted with local Orange County nightclubs, producing special events, grand openings, and parties. He has also designed booths for HP, D-Link, Sanyo, Super Street Magazine, Dodge, Pioneer, and many more.
Speaking about his new position, John commented, “Basically, I help to put club owners’ visions into reality. I have loved every minute of this new position and look forward to taking this opportunity to its limits and beyond. Being 23 years old and being in the position that I am, selling some of the best products on the market and working with what has to be the best people in the industry, is really what I think everyone strives for: total satisfaction!”
Based at Martin’s West Coast office in Simi Valley, California, John started his new position earlier this year.
