In May, Prolyte distributor Aerial Rigging Inc. delivered the first Prolyte ST roof system in its maximum configuration of 77'5"x51'2"x48'2" in the United States. The roof was purchased by Pro Stage West for its Las Vegas branch. The first setup was at Sam Boyd Stadium at UNLV for a concert featuring a total of 15 acts including Cypress Hill and Alice in Chains.
Aerial Rigging also supplied Pro Stage of America earlier this year with an MPT roof system of 47'4"x42'x30'5". Blake Ferry, president of Pro Stage West and Pro Stage of America, commented, "We have been working with Prolyte truss for some years now. We have become very spoiled because the truss, using conical connectors, goes together so quickly, which has saved me a lot of time and money on the set up of a production. The decison to increase my truss rental stock with Prolyte roof systems was an easy one for me, as their loading capacity, and speed of installation are incredible. The safety factors built into the roof sysyems were also a determining factor."
