Patrick Gallegos

, principal and founder of Gallegos Lighting Design, is proud to announce the appointment of Karl Haas as principal of the GLD Los Angeles office. Haas has made significant contributions to the growth of the company during his ten years with GLD. The artistic design versatility and project management skills developed during an extensive theatre and dance career, prior to GLD, have served him well in the translation to the permanent design environments developed at GLD. He and Gallegos have worked closely to develop successful projects and nurture constructive client relationships. His ability to focus on practical solutions and management of the lighting design team ensures that projects are completed on time and on budget.

During his tenure with Gallegos Lighting Design, Haas’ creative insight has enhanced many projects: Cerritos Library; Argosy Casino, Missouri; LEGOLAND California and Germany; Aquarium of the Pacific, Long Beach; Cinetropolis at Foxwoods Casino; Sony Theaters at Lincoln Square, New York; Casino Magic, Biloxi; Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; Golden State Museum; The Southwest Museum; COSI; Harrah’s Casino; Warner Bros. Movie World Madrid; Hirakata Park Lagoon, Japan; and Sentosa Heritage Museum, Singapore.
