Lex Products Corp. recently promoted Mark McKinney, formerly the national sales manager for US and Canada, to vice president of sales. McKinney first joined Lex Products in 2001 as a product manager; however, his value in solving customers’ problems was quickly recognized, and he soon became regional and then national sales manager. Prior to working for Lex, McKinney was the product manager for Strand Lighting, where he focused on the motion picture industry.
“Everyone who knows Mark McKinney, and that's pretty much everyone in our industry, recognizes Mark as the ultimate sales machine. It's great to be able to reward his years of success in this manner. His focus will shift a bit to building a sales team here at Lex, but you can be sure his drive, determination and integrity will remain constant,” says Bob Luther, CEO of Lex Products.
“My goals as the new VP of sales will be to develop a superior sales team (inside and out); to further enhance our dealer relationships; to develop new business opportunities; and most importantly, not to forget the people who have helped us grow,” says McKinney.
Besides the dealer network, McKinney will also be looking to expand and re-enforce Lex Product’s image in the Consutlant/Specifier Industry. “We have developed relationships with Theatrical Consultant/Specifiers over the last several years that have fostered an atmosphere of creativity…leading to new and innovative solutions to answer their production challenges,” explains McKinney.
