Special student opportunity for training sponsored by Cirque du Soleil in the 2011 LDInstitute. Seven qualified student can attend each of the site-specific sessions at La Nouba, Cirque du Soleil's fabulous resident show in Orlando.

Take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend time with some of the world’s top technicians behind the scenes at a Cirque du Soleil show. Attendees will spend a day job shadowing Cirque du Soleil technicians at La Nouba, Cirque du Soleil's fabulous resident show in Orlando. Get up-close and personal with the maintenance of the equipment, rehearsals, even the run of a show. Participants will be pre-assigned to one of the following areas: carpentry, rigging, wardrobe, automation, lighting, audio, or stage management. Participants will be split in to two groups. 6pm show: Group A follows a show track; Group B watches the show from the lighting booth. 9pm show: reverse of 6pm show.
MUST wear all black clothing with closed-toe hard shoes for backstage!
Taught by: Cirque du Soleil technicians and stage managers
*Must speak perfect English due to safety considerations
