Lighting designer Jeff Ravitz, of LA-based Intensity Advisors, has been honored with two regional Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lighting Design from both the Pacific Southwest and the Michigan chapters of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). Both ceremonies were held on June 15, 2013 in their respective locales.

The Emmys acknowledged lighting design and direction for "A Salute To Teachers 2012," produced by Channel 4 San Diego for the Cox Cable Network, and "A Celtic Awakening", Featuring Faith Marion Robinson, presented byDetroit Public Television and carried by local and national PBS affiliates.

"A lot of things need to go right to receive a couple of these awards," Ravitz comments. "It starts with a well put-together show, and continues to having the best creative team to work with.  I was fortunate to have all the right factors in my favor."

Ravitz and his associate, Kristie Roldan, are booked by both stations to return later this year to design new productions.
