Hudson Sound & Light and Christie Lites have joined together to form Hudson/Christie Lighting. The new partnership combines the companies’ vast inventory of lighting equipment, expands the depth and reach of their international distribution, and offers decades of shared industry expertise and experience to all their clients. Hudson/Christie Lighting will launch its partnership by providing the lighting equipment for the tour of the Tony Award® winning musical, Spring Awakening.

Hudson Sound & Light is part of Neil A. Mazzella’s Hudson family that includes Hudson Scenic Studio and Hudson Theatrical Associates. Founded in 2004, the lighting company is a natural extension of Hudson Scenic Studio, one of the largest full service production and scenic fabrication companies serving the professional entertainment community since 1980. Hudson Sound & Light’s recent shows include Mary Poppins, Spring Awakening, Grease, and The Seafarer.

Founded in 1985, Christie Lites is a stage lighting business focused on rentals and production. The company offers its specific product mix to six different market segments (theatre, concert, trade show, TV & film, industrial, and special events). Christie Lites’ consistent growth over the past 23 years has resulted in the establishment of 9 separate locations across North America. Some of Christie Lites’ recent shows include Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Movin’ Out, Chicago, 42nd Street, Evita, Linkin Park, 3 Doors Down, Goo Goo Dolls, North American Auto shows including NY, Detroit, Toronto and LA.
