Lee House joins A.C. Lighting as technical sales and support specialist for the company’s lighting division, with particular focus on supporting the new Jands Vista console, the MA Lighting grandMA range, and WYSIWYG control software.
House was particularly drawn to the role by the prospect of working on the launch of the Vista console with A.C. Jands Development Team contributors Neil Vann and Glyn O’Donoghue. The Vista officially launches in September at PLASA.
Having previously played a key role at Flying Pig Systems for four years, House is no newcomer to the console market and brings a wealth of experience to the role. During this time he helped set up the European Technical Support department and provided support for all Hog consoles, including the current Hog 3.
House also has extensive experience as a console end user, having spent six years in the industry prior to his time at Flying Pig Systems in a variety of theatres, including working at the London Palladium as their main desk operator on productions such as Saturday Night Fever. During this period he also held other electrical staff and chief electrician roles.
"I am really pleased to have Lee on board. He is well known and respected amongst the programming community and will be the perfect addition to our technical sales and support team," says Glyn O’Donoghue, product development director at A.C. Lighting. "We are experiencing substantial interest in the new Jands Vista console and Lee’s initial role will be to help us satisfy the demand for in depth demonstrations and training."
