The Entertainment Services and Technology Association is introducing the Business Peer Group Advisory Program (BPGAP), an opportunity for members to meet regularly with a small group of people from the industry with similar business issues, questions, and solutions. The program provides a forum where members can feel comfortable discussing, sharing and brainstorming to help their businesses and each other in a non-competitive atmosphere.

BPGAP is open to individuals from ESTA Dealer, Manufacturer, Production, and Professional Service Members and is designed to provide peer interaction at many levels. There will be groups for CEOs, sales managers, rental managers, marketing managers, project managers, and others as requested. Each group will be assigned a facilitator to monitor and enforce anti-trust compliance.

The small size of the groups (six to eight members) and face-to-face interaction three to four times a year over an extended period of time is the basis for creating a productive and supportive learning environment. Each group is self-directed and autonomous in its selection of meeting topics, conduct of meetings, and sharing of information subject to established policies and procedures.

ESTA president Bill Groener comments, “The ESTA Board of Directors is particularly pleased to make the Business Peer Group Advisory Program available to Members at this time, when economic uncertainties make running a business even more challenging and the need for knowledgeable advice and information is critical.”

The program is dedicated to the continuous improvement of each member’s leadership skills in operating and perpetuating their business. This continuous improvement utilizes the shared experiences and participation of each group member to bring forward and perfect best practices. Each member can then apply these tools to their own businesses to achieve their desired results.
