The ESTA Foundation’s Seminars & Training Committee has extended the registration deadline for their intensive, one-day hands-on training workshop to February 22.

Entitled Programming Automated Lighting Fixtures On A Conventional Tracking Console (Strand Lighting 500 Series, the workshop is limited to 20 people (two people per console), and will take place immediately following USITT in Toronto, Canada, on Sunday, March 20, 2005, from 9:00am-5:00pm. The instructor for the course is Bobby Harrell, a lighting designer and programmer in opera, dance and theatre for over 15 years.

The workshop, presented in cooperation with Strand Lighting, will be held at Strand’s facility located at, 2430 Lucknow Drive, Unit 15, Mississauga, Ontario. Transportation will be provided to and from the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

Registration is extended to February 22, 2005. The cost for ESTA, USITT, CITT and IATSE members is $225, other professionals $295 and students $150. The price includes transportation and lunch. For registration information go to www.esta.org/teched/seminarsandtraining.html.
