The 2006 Univision Upfront Presentation was held May 17 at The Lincon Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City. The lighting design utilized 36 Coemar iWash Halo and 24 Coemar ParLite LED fixtures. Scharff Weisberg provided equipment.
The stage also employed MainLight Soft-LED curtains distributed by Inner Circle Distribution.
The design team for the event consisted of lighting designer Carlos Colina, video content director Jason Rudolph, lighting director Ramon Furelos, programmer Ken Hudson, gaffer Bob Hale, and moving light tech Chris Komishock.
The iWash Halo is a halogen automated wash fixture with onboard dimming and 8° to 52° zoom. It features infinite color output via a CMY color mixing system with a color wheel with six colors plus open with a multi-color and rainbow effect. Its variable CTB (color correction blue) filter allows total color temperature control. Beam shaping rotating filter allows 180° shaping effect. There is also adjustable strobe and ZAP effect in synchronized or random mode.
