Technology plays a major role during the three Manufacturers’ Showcases at the Live Design Broadway Master Classes, taking place at New York University in NY, NY, May 15-21, 2009. Each of the Master Classes—sound, lighting, and projection—has a technology showcase which allows attends and the designers on the faculty to see today’s cutting-edge projects, network with representatives from major manufacturers and dealers, and stay up to date on technological advances across the industry.

The Manufacturers’ Showcase schedule is as follows:
Broadway Sound Master Classes:
Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17

Broadway Lighting Master Classes*
Tuesday, May 19: 12-2pm

Eisner Lubin Auditorium, upstairs from the NYU Skirball Center for the Arts, La Guardia Place at Washington Square South *The Live Design Product of the Year Awards and Excellence Awards will be held on Monday, May 18 from 1:30-3:30pm
