Steve Sockey joined SIA Acoustics in 2000 having worked in the worlds of touring sound, TV production, studio recording and sound system design. Steve brings his practical experience to bear on SIA's most prominent projects. Additionally, he consults for several manufacturers, driving the design of many products used to address the issues faced in acoustically challenging environments. His credits include a variety of successful high-profile events, performance venues and recording/broadcast facilities such as: the Pearl Concert Hall at The Palms Hotel and Casino, The Annual Rolex Awards Gala, and new studio designs for New York University's Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music. A resident of New York, Steve enjoys a wide variety of music and great barbecue ribs.
