Broadway Master Classes Wraps With Sardi's Luncheon and Sessions

The Broadway Lighting Master Classes (BLMC) ended last week, having reported record attendance this year. Following very successful Sound and Projection Master Classes earlier in the week, the sessions on lighting convened Tuesday through Thursday, including a trip to see multiple Tony Award-nominated Fela! Tuesday night, after which lighting designer Robert Wierzel held a post-show Q+A in the theatre.

Thursday's sessions were held at Sardi's, where attendees were treated to a luncheon and two sessions on the design of Fela!. Wierzel kicked off the final day with a discussion on the show's lighting, while costume and set designer Marina Draghici and writer (book and additional lyrics) Jim Lewis joined Wierzel for a panel discussion after lunch.
