The BSMC schedule on Wednesday, June 4 comprises a four-hour Meyer Sound live-sound system tuning session .Bob McCarthy and Richard Bugg will lead the optimization process using Meyer Sound's SIM™ analyzer, Galileo Loudspeaker Management System, and MAPP Online Pro. The results will be projected on the screen for all to see and participate in the tuning process. This will be a highly interactive, fast-paced tuning process just like it they do it on Broadway, led by folks who have done it on Broadway. We've only got a four-hour call so let's get moving!
Other speakers for the 2014 BSMC include: Legendary sound designer Abe Jacob (A Chorus Line, Evita, Rain: A Tribute To The Beatles) serves as the creative consultant. This year's speakers include Mark Bennett (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), Peter Hylenski (Bullets Over Broadway), Lindsay Jones (Bronx Bombers), Dan Moses Schreier (A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder), Nevin Steinberg (Cinderella) in a special conversation with legendary composer John Kander, and Jon Weston (The Bridges of Madison County).
