Lighting designer Marsha Stern lit the world and made it snow for the holidays. Well, at least a 20'x24' backdrop with an electroluminescent globe and snowflakes as a part of the Central Park Conservancy Holiday Lighting extravaganza, which was sponsored by Con Edison.
